Issue:
No policies are showing up in the Software Deployment Portal on the client.
Policy sync log file has the following error:
Failed to persist the inventory id to the managed node database.
Solution:
1. Stop the LANDesk Policy Invoker service on the client.
2. Close the Policy Portal on the client if it is open.
3. Delete all files in the LANDesk\Managementsuite\Database folder on the client. The folder is in the ProgramData or "Documents and Settings\All Users" folder depending on the OS running on the client.
4. Run "CLIENTDBUTIL.EXE /validate" on the client. The EXE is in the LDCLIENT folder.
5. Open the Policy Portal and do a referesh.
