CSA
LDMS 9.6 SP2 (Latest patch 0706)
Problem: After Scheduled task (software distribution) via CSA, jobs get stuck or status is not registered correctly. In the example below AWS003 and AWS004 completed the task, but they don't move to the Successful Section, they stay in Active. AWS002 says Downloading 100% but in the cache folder in the client machine it has only downloaded a fraction of the file and it stays as a @@partial@@__ download.
Sometime it will say downloading but it will not complete:
The task is set as a policy-supported push, Pre-cache, and run automatically.
My Distribution and Patch Settings are set as follows:
Set to sync every 10 min (is this a problem? I wanted test asap so I set it like that)
Now, I deployed this task to 5 machines, and I'm deploying 5 different applications, some are small in size and 2 are big, 150 MB and 250 MB. (due tot he size I changed to use 100% of the network and removed peer and preferred server options)
Sometimes the software (the big ones, I haven't had a problem with the smaller installers) pre-cache just fine and the status is reported as Successful, most of the time one of the problems mentioned above happens.
Questions:
Any idea oh what can I do to fix this?

General Software Distribution Questions:
After I schedule a task and set it to start now, how fast do I expect to see the client to pick the task (CSA)?
Is the scheduled 10 min setting in Policy and Schedule (first pic) what determines how soon such task will be pick up? Or is there any other setting?
If I set a longer schedule, for example every 4 hrs. How can I trigger a manual task check from the client?
I have tried double clicking policysinc, exe , LDISCN32.exe and vulscan.exe also the command: LDISCN32.EXE /V /F /SYNC and opening the portal and clicking the refresh button, I have read a lot about this but I'm confused on what does what at this point.
Your help is really appreciated.
Thank you.
